







Cheekies is open 51 weeks per year. We are closed for the Christmas week and the other remaining six statutory Bank Holidays.
The Daily Attendance Sessions are as follows: Mornings 8.00am - 1pm Afternoons 1pm - 6pm Full Day 8am - 6pm.
All places reserved must be paid for, even when the child is absent through sickness, holidays or other reasons. Places will not be charged for when Cheekies is closed. It is important that the nursery is informed if a child will not be attending on his or her days due to illness etc.
Charges are payable in advance for each four week period. Fees not paid on time will incur a late payment penalty and may put in jeopardy the childs place within the nursery.
Four weeks' notice, in writing, is necessary by either party for termination of a nursery place.
Children should be delivered into the care of a member of the Nursery staff and entered into the daily register. Children will only be released at the end of the relevant session to a recognised adult. If alternative arrangements need to be made then please notify the senior officer in writing in advance.
If your child has any special dietary arrangements notify the Senior officer in writing one week before the child commences at the Nursery.
All personal articles are left on the company premises at the parents own risk.
A change of clothing should be provided each day. Also wellingtons and outdoor clothing should be provided for walks and outdoor play.
Children should not bring money, jewellery or other valuables onto the premises. Neither should they bring food, drinks or sweets.
The nursery is well equipped and children should not bring their own toys unless this is necessary for comfort reasons.Children should not be brought to the Nursery when they are ill. Cheekies reserve the right to refuse to accept a child if by doing so would endanger the health of other children.
If medication is necessary as prescribed by the childs doctor , written instructions must be given to the senior officer.
The nursery must be advised of any known allergies, or if any nappy cream is used, as we are unable to provide creams under social services legislation.
If a child is taken ill or injured whilst at the nursery immediate basic first aid will be administered and the parent or guardian will be advised. If sufficiently serious the child must be collected by the parent . In the event of an emergency, medical attention will be sought, including attendance at hospital, the parents being advised as soon as possible.
Children should be delivered by parents/guardial into the care of a member of staff and the relevant details filled in, in the Arrivals and Departures Book. Children will only be released at the end of the session to the same parent. If alternative arrangements need to be made these need to be notified in writing to the Officer- in-Charge in advance.
